Try this tip when things get chaotic

Greetings, How are you right now, in this moment?  Have you taken some time for yourself to turn your attention within and just breathe, sigh, and quiet the mind?  I have found myself being swept up by all that's competing for my attention, and I feel exhausted.  When I feel overwhelmed, I remind myself to....take a pause and notice your breath.  BREATHING EXERCISE FOR CALM AND PEACE..... For quick relief from panic and stress, here's a simple healing response to apply to your day when your mind is racing and you're feeling chaotic energies around you....

  • Find a quiet space where you can sit for a few minutes without being disturbed.

  • Sit in a comfortable chair with your feet on the floor, jaw, neck, shoulders, and belly relaxed.

  • Gently close your eyes and continue to gently breathe.

  • Set your intention to stay in the present moment - focusing on expanding your heart and being in the NOW.

  • Breathe in through your nose for 4 beats, bringing your breath all the way down to your elbows, and filling all of your lungs.

  • Hold the breath for 4 beats....

  • Exhale through your mouth for 8 beats.

  • Rest and then repeat at least 2 more times - thinking "breathe in peace and serenity, exhale stress and tension"

  • You will notice a gentle calming feeling as you do this exercise which can lower your stress levels for better health.

  • To experience deeper stress reduction, join my next online event: Energy Sound Meditations, 10/15/2020 @ 7pm EST, and notice yourself feeling a sense of clarity and deeper relaxation. TO REGISTER -> CLICK HERE
